Monday, September 29, 2008– In a recent study done at Legal Circle it was found that though LPO is gaining as one of the more talked about topics, leaving other KPOs in lurch at times. The thought of getting a legal assignment done by any other person than your trusted lawyer gives shrill to many a decision makers, but change is the name of the game. But times do change and market behaves in a way, as no one has ever predicted. Now the market is driven by a simple fact- COMPARISON.
Corporates and Firms are now comparing options- whether to do in-house, to nearshore, to contract, to offshore, to abandon. What costs, to whom? Question still remains is what can be given outside and what cannot? The answer lies to the fact that wherever it is sure that the work executed would adhere to the quality parameters set, that chunk of the whole Legal process can be offshored.
The best approaches were found in possibilities that are decided mutually by the provider and the end user. LPO market is no doubt expanding, but correction is near the corner, only players who rely on quality will survive and those relying purely on costs would not.
